Welcome to our home! We bought our second house in June of 2017 and we couldn't be happier! After living in a 1950s home we are enjoying the low-maintenance of a completely new build. We didn't build the home, but are the first owners. It's a 4-bedroom, 3.5 bath traditional two-story. Enjoy the tour!

Your home is beautiful, I also love neutrals, what paint colors did you use in your home?
ReplyDeleteJeanine
Hi Jeanine, I'm sorry to say that I don't know any of the paint colors because we rent. The walls are all one color of taupe with a gray undertone and the trim is all a creamy white...but I don't have any more specifics than that : ( Sorry I'm not more help!
ReplyDeleteI love it all! So pretty. Can I ask where you got your four baskets pictured above in the linen closet? And the one on your small white bench in your powder room? I'm in desperate need for cute baskets!!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Bel
Hi Belle! The gray willow baskets are from Target, and the round wire basket I got from a local boutique, but I have seen it numerous places online (try homedecoratorscollection.com and elizabethsembellishments.com). The wire basket in the linen closet is from a local vintage store, and handmade by a Kansas farmer. The wire basket in my powder room is from a local antique store. Antique stores are the best sources for great old baskets at a good price, I think! You can find them at big box stores (I like these http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10029530&N=&Ntt=wire+basket) but there's nothing like a rusty old wire basket with tons of age and patina! Baskets are honestly one of my favorite decor accessories because they add so much texture, plus they double as great storage! Happy shopping!

The coffee rectangular coffee table you have from home decorators collection - is that the Anjou? If so, do you know what finish it is??? Ive been looking for a coffee table like that for ages....
ReplyDeleteI purchased it before there were finish options, but I'd say the closest is the natural
DeleteKaitlyn did Courtney respond to you about the finish of the coffee table? I'm curious as well☺️

DeleteHello! I have to say, your home is BEAUTIFUL! I am currently redecorating my house and I just have to ask, where did you find all your cute little knick-knacks for your shelves? I especially love the diamond pane mini window, the wire cloches, and the corbels.
ReplyDeleteThanks Taylor! I have to say almost everything on those shelves is either vintage or from TJ Maxx! Antiques are some of the best display pieces, which is what the mini window and corbels are. I believe the wire cloche was from Hobby Lobby on clearance years ago. I'd try antique malls, TJX and Home Goods for similar finds! Hope that helps!
DeleteWhere did you find the little white church?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could email you a picture of my living room, I drew inspiration directly from yours and would love to show you how I did my wall shelves. I actually made a coffee table like yours thru some a bit of serendipity. Love following you on Pinterest also

ReplyDeleteIt is really lookin awesome. You can add different accessories to make your room comfortable one. You can choose different bath accessories like folding shower seat, bath chair, board, other decorative accessories like racks, mats, etc.
