Meaningful Holiday Home Tour

I am SO exited for today! Welcome to day two of the Meaningful Holiday Home Tour, hosted by the lovely Laura of Meaningful Spaces. You will definitely want to stop by today's other tours at Thrifty and Chic and Rachel Elizabeth. I promise you will be blown away! (And all the other daily stops are listed at the bottom of the post, too)

I thought we'd start in the hearth room, which is extra festive this year with both the fireplace and a tree. We've never had a tree in this room before and I have to say I'm absolutely loving it! We may have to move the Christmas morning present-opening to this room because it's just so darn cozy.

I kept this tree pretty simple and classic. I placed gold painted magnolia leaves among the branches then filled in with white balls and a few classic ornaments. I really love how it turned out, and the gold, gray and white presents below are the perfect finishing touch.

This mantel has been a labor of love. I wanted to do something different with the focal point this year, but wasn't quite sure which direction to go. I ended up buying four (haha) different art pieces to go here, and ended up loving this one from TJ Maxx the most. It's modern and dramatic while still being very neutral. It reminds me of a winter scene.

I kept a lot of our usual decor, but changed up a few pillows and added boxwood wreaths and greenery to make it feel more festive.

The little white houses on the mantel are just my favorite - all from Target. The ceramic ones are from the dollar spot, which is incredible, and the paper ones are found in the craft section. They are an inexpensive way to add detail and charm.

Oh the nursery. Everyone's favorite room in the house (both in real life and online haha) - and there's something even more magical about it at Christmas.

I've tried to start collecting a few Christmas items that our girl will love as she gets older. It's all about whimsy and magic when you're little, so a lot of the ornaments and decor were chosen with that in mind (well, that and her signature peach and gold of course ; )

The dollhouse in the photos above and below is one of my favorite things I hope she'll love for years to come. It's by Lille Huset and I bought it for her first birthday. They make paper dollhouses that are just so much fun! This year we filled it with little winter doll ornaments and mini bottle brush trees from Target until she's old enough to do paper dolls.

I just recently rearranged and refreshed this living room, so it was so fun to add some Christmas-y touches to the new look. I pulled in just a bit of blush and lots of gold to make it feel fresh and festive.

I really wanted a flocked tree this year, and I couldn't believe it when I stopped by the thrift store and found this one for $25! Find of the century! It's a very nice, high quality tree, and the original shipping address was to a local high-end decor store. The lights don't work but for $25 I was willing to string my own!

I kept the coffee table styling pretty much the same since I absolutely adore it, but it was so easy to add a few Christmas balls and packages to dress things up.

I'll forever love this print from Lindsay Letters, purchased at Hobby Lobby.

You know I had fun styling these shelves! I used a lot of what was already there but added lots of greenery and a few winter touches like a marble snowflake, bottle brush tree and ornaments.

This little moment on the side table is one of my favorites. It feels modern and fresh yet classic to me. And I'm sort of obsessed with the scalloped horn bowl I picked up at HomeGoods. It's the little things ; )

I've been trying to refresh our dining space for a while to make it feel more modern and less vintage. Luckily, the white wall art was a no-go for above the mantel that happens to look perfect right here. Love it!

I simply added greenery, fresh silver dollar eucalyptus and white poinsettias to make everything feel special.

I was surprised how easily the kitchen came together. It didn't take much - just pops of red, black and silver.

If you've made it to the end of this (very long!) post, thank you so much for stopping by! I absolutely love sharing our holiday home with you, and it has been so fun to be part of the Meaningful Holiday tour. Be sure to stop by all the other houses – they are each breathtaking. Merry Christmas, everyone!
