Playroom Reveal (Little Girl Blush Playroom)

Hello! I have another room reveal for you today. Well, actually if you've followed since our last house you've probably seen a lot of this before, as we finished the playroom just before we left and so picked it right up and moved it to this house (check it out here). It's not too different, but a little. We also just finished our daughter's "big girl" room, which I hope to share next. I promise it won't be all kids stuff here on the blog, but that just happens to be what I'm working on right now. Now about the playroom...

The big difference in this space is that we purchased this play kitchen for L's second birthday. It's such a sweet addition to the room! (I blogged all about why we love it here.)

I apologize the lighting in these photos is a little weird. This room has one of the biggest windows in the house and probably gets the very best light, but I had to take them while my daughter was napping which wasn't maybe the perfect time of day. But you still get the idea : )

Our cube storage is still such a key piece - great for displaying some prettier toys as well as hiding others. We store baby toys, play food and all her wooden kitchen accessories in the bins.

The large canvas bins are also perfect for storing tons of toys - they can hold so much! They are just hampers from Home Goods but they definitely work hard around here.

Our play table is still a favorite and gets so much use. In fact I wish I had a second one downstairs because it's so convenient for a little person (and would spare my coffee table haha).

Some of you may remember the artwork is framed wrapping paper! I love finding creative and inexpensive things to frame.

Her reading nook is one of the places she spends the most time. She calls it her "book nest" and she's constantly either looking at books or having me read a few to her. It is pretty comfy thanks to all the pillows!

This kitchen is just so pretty. It looks so much like the Pottery Barn Kids version but for a much better price. I didn't like the notepad graphic that came on that fridge so I just covered it in some Rifle Paper Co wrapping paper. The wooden shopping cart is another favorite toy.

She's just now old enough for these wordier books we have on the shelf and I have to say I'm loving it! They are all such fun reads!

I had my eye on these darling illustrated houses from an Australian company for ages, but just couldn't justify the cost of international shipping. I was thrilled when one of my favorite local boutiques started carrying them!

These simple wooden blocks have been one of our most played with toys. It just goes to show kids don't need tons of electronics - simple and classic all the way!

Thanks so much for coming by! Hope you enjoyed the tour!
