The first everything with a baby is simply too much fun. So far we've had the first Halloween (she was one day old), Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day and now Easter. Though a 4-month-old certainly doesn't "need" much or understand what's happening, it's still such a joy to shower her with fun little goodies to make these special firsts memorable...or at least her grandmas and I sure think so! ; )
I wanted her first Easter basket to be whimsical, fun, girly and ethereal all in one. And of course include her signature peach color!
The soft plush bunny I actually found at the grocery store! I think it's sometimes difficult to find more classic looking plush toys (that aren't too cartoon-y) and this little cream rabbit was so precious. I tied a peach ribbon around her neck to dress her up a bit.
I also included an Easter board book (which she'll enjoy even more next year) and some fun gold polka dot baby moccasins - our favorite shoes!
Though we are not to solid foods yet, these "Love You to the Moon" utensils were too sweet to pass up. I also included a felt flower crown in peach and blush to wear on Easter morning. It will be so sweet with her Easter dress!
And of course the paper flower garland from Target just makes the whole thing! I've been having fun moving this around the house! It has such beautiful colors and is so whimsical.
I'm so excited to celebrate Easter for the first time with our little one!
