Three Weeks to Go! {12th and White Sale}

Oh goodness... have I ever been neglecting this little blog! Two whole weeks without blogging isn't like me. But it seems most of my time and creative attention has been turned toward the 12th and White Sale on September 6...which is just under {gulp} three weeks away! I can't even believe it's almost here! Work has been busy, life has been full and the blog posts just haven't been coming. But the sourcing, junking, painting and pricing sure has! Here's a little peek via my Instagram.

Last weekend I turned this great antique frame, which was missing its mirror, into a chalkboard. I think this would be so cute in a kitchen or office. Some white paint went a long way in updating the simple frame.

This was the loot from a quick picking trip a few weeks back. I was lucky enough to find a few of my favorite staples like ironstone, silver and locker baskets, as well as a sweet little sketch of a church and some cool architectural salvage.

This is the "before" of one of the pieces Joey (my furniture painting partner in crime) will be bringing to the sale. I've seen a few sneak peeks and let's just say it's going to be a-maz-ing! She's already had quite a few inquiries about this piece so I'd get there first thing if you're interested!

I scored these dainty pitchers at an estate sale - love their sweet little scallops!

This is another piece Joey will have available (just ignore my dirty garage). It is a gorgeous antique piece with such pretty detailing, but is very solid and in great shape. I believe she's going white on this one.

You can never have enough vintage silver

These finials were a warm wood when I found them, but I gave them a fresh coat of white, some distressing and a gray glaze. They fit right in on my mantel...at least until September 6!

These are a few more scores I'll have available - a pretty little cream and sugar set, a marble compote and an old suitcase with great patina.

And this weekend I was able to score some really fun things - more ironstone, some French stripe linens, silver napkin rings, and vintage botanical prints in chunky frames.

Of course the frames got a fresh coat of gray. I kind of want to keep them for myself now...though that's the way it is with pretty much everything : )

Hopefully that gives you a good idea of some of the vintage goods we'll have available! I'm hoping to have some furniture sneak peeks over the next few weeks too. I know Joey has a desk, vanity, quite a few dressers, dining table, side tables and more in the works. I'll have an antique farm table (not dining size) and the ever-popular church pew. My mother-in-law is a professional baker and is bringing lots of delicious sweets for you to sample as well. Lots to look forward to!

For the locals...
