A Pleased Customer

Friends, today I wanted to share with you an experience I had with an online decor company, Wuslu. Probably most of you have heard of them, as Miss Mustard Seed works with them often, and their stuff is all over the blog/decor world. In case you haven't heard about them yet, Wuslu offers one decor item per day at a killer price. Their products are always unique, vintage-inspired and lovely. I've gotten their daily emails for a while and am always excited to see what the deal is each morning.


I recently ordered this French grain sack memo board from them for a great price. But when I paid for the item, there was a bit of a glitch with my order. It wasn't a big deal and I wasn't upset, I simply sent the company an email inquiring about the error.


To my surprise and delight, they quickly refunded my entire purchase price, and still sent me the memo board. I hadn't even asked for a full refund. Their words were "we never want our customers to feel that we are trying to trick them." Wow! What an awesome response in the world of big, impersonal companies like amazon, etc. I have to say I am totally and completely blown away and impressed by their service, professionalism and heart for their customers.


I just wanted to pass this information on to you, because as a small business owner, I believe in supporting the small, family owned businesses out there. Because of their treatment of me, and going above and beyond the call of duty, they have earned a customer for life and a raving fan of their business. I will continue to purchase from them from now on.


I also love the memo board I received from them, and the quality and artistry is beautiful. It now hangs in my hallway and even Matt commented on it the first time he saw it. It's rare for him to notice a new piece of decor so I think that says a lot : )

  2. I also Love Wuslu! Their customer service is awesome! I have bought many,many things and loved them all! So glad that you have mentioned in a bigger way on your blog. I received a broken glass candle stick ( clearly to box miss handling) and received replacement in mere days!
