Pumpkin Pancakes

Good morning friends! How are you on this lovely Sunday morning? Yesterday we had the priviledge of having a fantastically lazy Saturday, and I made pumpkin pancakes for breakfast. They were delicious and the perfect was to ring in the official start of autumn!

I loved this canned pumpkin packaging the moment I saw it at Aldi. Isn't it beautiful? I love pretty packaging but you don't usually find it in grocery stores. This was a happy exception, and only 99 cents : )

The black, orange and white just pop. It's the little things in life!

Mmmm...the pancakes turned out soft, thick and yummy! A piece of fall in your mouth.

I had my trusty cup of coffee near by, with pumpkin spice creamer of course. The Aldi kind is the best I've found. It's delicious!

My peachy-orange roses were a bit faded by this point, but they still looked festive.

My antique kitchen towel made the perfect rustic napkin. (Thanks Talitha!) Smother with butter, syrup and enjoy!

Our fall breakfast table. The sunlight was streaming in, the coffee was hot, and football was on in the other room. The perfect autumn morning!

black + white + pumpkin = yes please!

Have you made any yummy fall treats yet? I'd love some awesome recipes! Have a great rest of the weekend!

  3. I love pumpkin anything and these look delicious. Pumpkin pancakes are definitely on my fall to-make list!
I've posted a couple fall-inspired recipes lately. I did a pear cake yesterday that was AMAZING. And a roasted pear sauce that can be used as a side for dinner or on an appetizer platter. Both ways are yummy.
The food is the main reason I look forward to the cooler weather. Bring on the canned pumpkin and pot roasts! :o)
Enjoy the rest of your day!
